This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for services booked through EV Smart.
By using our platform, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. General Policy
- All payments made for rides are non-refundable by default
- Refunds are issued only in specific cases as outlined below
2. Eligible Refund Scenarios
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
a. Failed Ride / Service Not Provided
- Driver did not arrive at the pickup location
- Ride was not started but payment was deducted
b. Duplicate Payment
- User was charged more than once for the same ride
c. Payment Failure but Amount Deducted
- Payment shows as failed in the app but money was debited from your account
3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Ride was successfully completed
- User cancels the ride after driver acceptance (cancellation charges may apply)
- No-show by user at pickup location
- Delays due to traffic, weather, or external conditions
- Disputes related to driver behavior (these may be reviewed separately but not guaranteed for refund)
4. Refund Process
- Refund requests must be raised by contacting: info@evsmartcab.com
- Users must provide relevant booking details
All refund requests are subject to verification and approval by EV Smart.
5. Refund Timeline
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days
- The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider
6. Refund Method
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during booking
- For cash payments, refunds (if applicable) may be handled via alternative methods at our discretion
7. Third-Party Payment Processing
Online payments are processed through third-party providers such as Razorpay.
- EV Smart is not responsible for delays caused by payment gateways or banks
- Any payment-related issues may also be subject to the terms of the payment provider
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
- Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account suspension
- We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks where services have been delivered
9. Policy Updates
We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
